A shrine resting on top of Kaga's sacred Mount Hakusan and a place to worship the enshrined Kikurihime Okami, the goddess of matchmaking. It is an old shrine built from year 947-957 and there are about 3,000 hydrangea that decorate the way to Hakusan park.

During the blooming period of the hydrangea (ajisai), the Ajisai festival is also being celebrated at the area around the shrine.
