Mt. Yoshino is one of the most famous cherry blossom viewing spots in Japan, and is covered by approximately 30,000 white mountain cherry trees. Cherry trees which have been planted from ancient times for religious reasons bloom in this place of natural beauty.

The blooming begins from early to mid April. Full-bloom dates vary depending on the location.
After getting off at "Yoshino station" of Kintetsu line, it takes about three minutes to go to "Senbonguchi station" of the aerial tramway on foot and takes about three minutes to reach "Yoshinoyama station" on the mountain.
