A port town with its named etched into Japanese history, Taisho Retro is a tourist spot restoring the air of the Taisho era (1912-26) Japan. The place was awarded a place in ”Japan's 100 Best City Landscapes” by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism. The features a large-scale shopping mall as well as museums. The captivating ”Fantastic Light Show” combines lights and water fountains in the evenings.
