Measuring just 15 kilometers around, Teuri Island is located 30km west of the Port of Haboro, Hokkaido. It is the world’s most important breeding ground for utou birds (Rhinoceros auklet). You can see the birds catch fish at sunset near the Akaishi viewing platform, and pay attention to their homing instincts at night.
