Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route
A popular sightseeing spot where you can walk through walls of snow from late April to mid June. The walls are over 10 meters high, with some areas as high as 20 meters!

Immediately after the opening of the entire Alpine Route, from 16th April to 31st May, you can walk along the dynamic snow corridor as “Yuki-no-Otani" Snow Wall Walk . You need waterproof trekking shoes or long boots.
A 9-minute walk from JR "Toyama Station" to Dentetsu "Toyama Station", and it takes an hour on Toyama Local Railway to the "Tateyama Station", which is situated right on the site.
50 minutes by the Limited Express "Wide View Shinano" from JR "Nagano Station" to JR "Matsumoto Station", 55 minutes by the Oito Line to the "Shinanoomachi Station", 40 minutes by the Alpico Bus or the Kita Alps Kotsu Bus Ogisawa Line to the "Ogisawa Station" stop, which is within a short walking distance from the site.
