Rebun Island is Japan’s northernmost island. There are many hiking trails on the island, and its flower fields and the blue ocean give it beautiful scenery. Momoiwa hiking trail offers an excellent view of Mount Rishifuji. The mountain is pictured on the packaging of Hokkaido’s popular “Shiroikoibito” cookies.

Mt. RishiriFuji looks beautiful especially in May and June. Please remember to check the weather forecast as the mountain appears clearer when it's sunny.
