Yokote Kamakura Festival
©AFLO, Hideaki Tanaka
This festival was higly praised by the German architect, Bruno Julius Florian Taut, comparing it to ”a dreamland,” when he visited there in 1936. Children can play inside snow huts, and refreshments such as amazake (sweet, non-alcohol sake) and mochi (rice cakes) are available.
