Like a giant mirror, the Hakuba mountain range is reflected on the surface of this mysterious pond. At an elevation of 2,060m, the red autumn leaves are bright as a flame, and pure white snow can be seen up through early summer. The crisp, high-contrast scenery is well worth the hike.
