Sunflowers in Tsunan Town

Centered on the Tsunan Sunflower Plaza (Tsunan Himawari Hiroba), sunflowers can be found throughout the town of Tsunan. It is said the area attracts 70,000 visitors during the peak season from late July to mid-August. The highlight is the Sea of Sunflowers, a magnificent field covered end to end with sunflowers.

Around 500,000 sunflowers are planted in three different areas. The sunflowers in each area bloom at different times, so we can prolong our enjoyment of the relaxing summer feeling.
