On the Plateau, there is an observatory with a 360-degree panoramic view stretching from the top of Mt. Fuji to the Fuji Hokuroku (northern foothills). During the fall, the leaves begin changing from the north to a deep red, while Mt. Fuji's summit is still bathed in snow. You can enjoy the beautiful contrast between red and white from the observatory. What's more, Lake Saiko is visible on the other side.
