According to legend, the water from a waterfall in the park turned into sake (Japanese rice wine). And while the waterfall is just water these days, Yoro Park was selected as one of Gifu Prefecture's 33 best cherry blossom and fall foliage-viewing destinations. In spring, more than 3,000 cherry blossom trees turn the entire park pink, while in autumn red momiji and maple along with yellow ginkgo trees make a beautiful gradation along the road between the entrance of the park and the waterfall.
