Tadami River first iron bridge

A 174 meter bridge spanning accoss the Tadamigawa River. It is the only arch railroad bridge on the Tadamigawa Line that goes over a river. It is painted light purple like the flowers of the paulownia tree, the specialty product of Mishima Town where the bridge is located. It is a famous photography spot for train fans and photographers.

It is recommended to visit the bridge when it is illuminated at night from June to October. (Dates are subject to change. Be sure to bring walking shoes and warm clothes as you'll be walking through the mountain to the viewpoint.)
You can come here by car for about ten minutes from JR Tadami line "Aizumiyashita station". You can also come here on foot for a few minutes from a roadside station "Ozekaidoumishimajuku".
