Ohanazawa, Shinjo, & Murayama

 Ohanazawa, Shinjo, & Murayama

The area is known worldwide for its "Ginzan Onsen (hot spring)," a row of three to four-story wooden hotels across the Ginzan River, inviting visitors into a retro atmosphere. There are two public bathhouses in the hot spring town where you can enjoy the hot spring water of Ginzan Onsen on a day trip. There is also a footbath called "Warashiyu" along the stone-paved sidewalk where you can relax and enjoy the scenery. The castle's ruins where the Mogami clan, who once ruled the area, used to live for generations have become Mogami Park. On this popular spot, cherry trees bloom in the cherry blossom season.
