 Sakata & Tsuruoka

The "Tsuruoka City Kamo Aquarium," located in the Tsuruoka area, exhibits up to 50 or more species of jellyfish. In the "Jellyfish Dream Theater," a tank diameter of 5 meters, you can see about 2,000 moon jellyfish. Since Asuka Beach is located in the Sakata area, the area is crowded with sea bathers and marine sports enthusiasts during the summer. Visitors can also appreciate rare alpine plants and wild birds and enjoy the natural scenery of Mt. Gassan and the cherry blossoms in Tsuruoka Park.
