Shinosaka, Esaka, Juso, & Tsukamoto

Shin-Osaka Station, the gateway to Osaka, is a central station for the Shinkansen (bullet train), Kansai Airport, access to the Hokuriku area (Niigata, Toyama, Ishikawa, and Fukui prefecture), express trains, and conventional lines connecting the Keihanshin area (cities of Kyoto, Osaka, and Kobe).
In the area, there are many tourist attractions such as the “Yodogawa River Park Nishi Nakajima area,” which uses both banks of the Yodogawa River, “Esaka Shrine,” which is dedicated to Susanowono Mikoto (one of the gods in Japanese myth), who defeated the mythical Yamatano Orochi (eight-headed, eight-tailed serpent), and “Souzenji Temple,” which some say was founded by Prince Shotoku (574-622).
Among them, the Esaka Shrine is believed to be beneficial in preventing plague, fire, and water disasters.
