Eastern Osaka (Neyagawa, Moriguchi, Kadoma, & Higashi Osaka)

The eastern part of Osaka, including Neyagawa, Moriguchi, Kadoma, and Higashiosaka, is scattered about many temples and shrines, including “Naritasan Fudoson,” which is the 28th of the 36 sacred places of fudoson (Object of Worship) in the Kinki region (Osaka, Kyoto, Hyogo, Nara, Mie, Shiga, and Wakayama Prefecture) and believed to be beneficial for traffic safety, “Senjuji Temple,” which is associated with Kobodaishi (Buddist monk), and ”Myotokuji Temple,” which has a long history.
The area is also home to many nationally known spots, such as ”Mt. Kongo,” a popular mountain climbing destination for beginners and advanced climbers, “Tondabayashi Jinai Town,” which still retains its late medieval town layout, and “Higashiosaka City Hanazono Rugby Stadium,” a famous rugby mecca.
