The Goanzawa Valley, located in Minami-Alps City, has and offers camping, fishing, and barbecue facilities, and the transparent flow of the river is beautiful. There is a Mototaki waterfall in the upper stream, splashing with negative ions, and the surrounding area is home to landlocked salmon, sculpin, salamanders, and other creatures.
At the foot of the 1,770-meter-high Yashajin Pass is the Ashiyasu Onsen (Hot Spring), which attracts many visitors from all over Japan for its hot spring baths in beautiful natural scenery.
