The spot you can't miss in this area is the" Tanise Suspension Bridge" in Totsukawa Village. It is surrounded by mountains as far as the eye can see. It is the longest suspension bridge in Japan, spanning the Kumano River (Totsu River) with 297 meters and 54 meters above the river surface. It is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Japan.
In addition, there are many other places where you can enjoy the spectacular natural scenery, such as the "Kurotaki Mori Monogatari Village," a mountain resort facility, "Nyoiji Temple," the head temple of the Benten sect, famous for its cherry blossoms, "Eizanji Temple" with its beautiful autumn leaves.
