Townscape of Tokyo downtown, drawn by Shinji Tsuchimochi, an illustrator
"Meisho Edo Hyakkei or One Hundred Famous Views of Edo" are pictures of townscapes in the Edo Period and are Ukiyoes (wood-block prints) drawn by Hiroshige Utagawa. Shinji Tsuchimochi, an illustrator, draws, with the motives of such Ukiyoes, "100 townscapes of Tokyo", which are illustrations cut out from the townscapes of Tokyo downtown. His drawn illustration of townscapes of Tokyo downtown expresses somehow nostalgic and warm feelings. Why don't you enjoy such fascinating townscapes in Tokyo downtown that looks differently from the Tokyo's landscape with lined skyscrapers, when you visit to Japan?
