Koran Kikuchi, a young wood carver and a Buddhist painter, is inherited techniques and thoughts of ancestors.
In Japan in shrines and temples, there view some Buddhist paintings on the walls and on hanging scrolls, and also some statues of Buddha that made by wood carving.
Such works that are created by very high techniques are created by hands of artisans like a Buddhist painter and a wood carver who have learnt the traditional techniques after years of training.

I will introduced this time Ms. Kouran Kikuchi, a wood carver and Buddhist painter, who creates statues of Buddha and Buddhist paintings.
Please look at numbers of her beautiful works that she creates making full use of the traditional high techniques, which are inherited from great ancestors to now.
