Dancing Ballerinas in Urabandai’s Autumn!

Dancing Ballerinas in Urabandai’s Autumn!

Fukushima Prefecture is full of beautiful destinations like Goshiki-numa, which we’ve also introduced here on ZEKKEI Japan (http://zekkeijapan.com/spot/index/175/).

On October 27, a video of ballerinas dancing among all this gorgeous scenery was released on Fukushima Prefecture’s official YouTube channel.

The video is the fall episode of a series broadcast on the prefecture’s official YouTube, and the series, called “Dancing the Fukushima Seasons,” is part of an affirmative stance to revitalize Fukushima Prefecture and enhance its allure.

Whether staged at the Morohashi Museum of Modern Art, among the gorgeous crimson leaves Goshiki-numa, or on the shores of Lake Hibara, the dances are elegant and graceful performances by a girl aiming for the position of prima donna and a ballerina appearing from a sculpture of the museum.

We hope you’ll take this opportunity to watch the movie and enjoy the beauty of their movements together with the magnificent scenery of Ura-bandai.

The spring and summer episodes are also available to view on the prefecture’s official channel.
