Mt. Maya Kikuseidai Platform
The Mt. Maya Kikuseidai Platform has been voted as one of the “Three Major Night Views of Japan”. Kikuseidai literally means to “scoop up the stars”, and it was named as such because of its height – the fact visitors felt that they were so high they could almost “scoop up” the stars for themselves. Kikuseidai Platform, also well-known as the finishing point for those who hike up Mt. Maya, has a cool temperature throughout the year.
