This is the only stonework multiple-arched dam in Japan. Visitors can see the fantastic mountainous scenery at any time of the year. While there are lots of visitors to Honen-ike Dam throughout the year, the traditional “Yurunuki” (water release) event in summer is particularly the most famous event here. In addition, Honenikeyumizu Park near the dam was selected as one of the 88 views of Shikoku in 2020.
