Inabe City Agricultural Park
Inabe City Agricultural Park, located in northern Mie Prefecture, has 100 different types of plum tree. Over 45,000 plum trees bloom here – the largest amount in the Tokai region. An abundance of events occur annually, such as the Plum Blossom Festival in March, the Peony Festival in April, and plum picking in June. The view seen from the 30 meter high viewing platform is simply breathtaking – plum groves can be seen before a backdrop of the Suzuka mountain range.
