Sobetsu Park is renowned for its plum blossoms, with it being the most popular viewpoint around Lake Toya. From here, Lake Toya, Mt. Yotei, and Mt. Showashinzan can all be seen, among others. Around 300 Japanese apricot trees are located inside the park, with early - mid-May being the peak period to see them.
