This shrine has long since been called “Yuki Mound”, or “Yuki Myoji”. Besides the 300 weeping cherry trees in the shrine gardens, there are also 10 different types of plum blossom tree planted here. These plum blossoms begin to bloom from as early as late January, when various popular festivals such as the “Weeping Plum Blossoms Festival” and the “Plum Blossom Festival” take place.
