Kinkakuji (Golden Pavilion)
Dec.
Although its official name is "Rokuonji Temple", this golden pavilion is more commonly referred to as "Kinkakuji". This sightseeing hotspot is also a world heritage site, and a sub-temple of Shokokuji Temple. The upside-down reflection of Kinkakuji on Kyokochi Pond (Mirror Pond) is highly worth seeing regardless of the season. This image changes depending on the time and climate.
