Meigetsuin Temple is commonly referred to as the "Hydrangea Temple", as well as "Meigetsuin Blue". Around 2,500 hydrangea flowers bloom profusely at this temple from mid-June. The "Enlightenment of the Window" in the Main Hall is also a very popular sightseeing spot.
