Ominesan Ryusenji Temple
This temple originated to enshrine the dragon-head gargoyle (semi-legendary holy man) discovered in the precincts. The clear water here is always kept at 10-degrees Celsius. The vast majority of visitors to this temple come to drink this water – after all, tradition has it that this miraculous water can cure all illnesses. With its changing appearance depending on the season, the mountain located behind the temple has been designated a natural treasure by the prefecture.
