Sanko Inari Shrine
This shrine has long been lovingly referred to as “Sankojisan” by the locals. Well-known as a short-cut to Inuyama Castle, this shrine is located at the peak of Mt. Shiroyama. The pink, heart-shaped ema (wooden plaques containing prayers) inside “Himeki Shrine” on the precincts of this shrine are very popular among female visitors.
