Lake Kuzuryu Lake Kuzuryu

This huge man-made lake with a width of 355m and a height of 128m. The lake was constructed via the “rockfill style”, a rare technique in Japan during the time. The “Yume-no-Kakehashi” (Bridge of Dreams), made as a test case for The Great Seto Bridge, magnificently merges into its surrounding landscape of mountains and a large dam lake. The surface of the usually emerald green lake is turned pink in late-April due to the approx. 10,000 cherry blossoms planted here. The lake also reflects the beautiful colors of the fall from late-October to mid-November. Enjoy the changing colors of the lake depending on the season!
