Homei Shijuhachi-taki Falls
This is a generic term for the range of large and small waterfalls around upper Hirosegawa River. The sound of each waterfall is full of personality, and legend has it that combined, these sounds resemble that of a phoenix cry – hence its name (Homei = literally “Phoenix Cry” in Japanese). The constantly flowing, clear clean waters of Homei Shijuhachi-taki Falls is beautifully surrounded by lush green forest. Only those in the know are aware of this fantastic waterfall.
