This ravine, surrounded by greenery, is located along the Kawamata River. It divides Higashizawa and Nishizawa, with Higashizawa being reputed for being the most stunning. The elegant “Doryunotaki Waterfall” at the ravine entrance has a drop of approx. 10m and a width of around 15m. While there are numerous waterfalls in this area, Doryunotaki Waterfall is said to be the most beautiful. A walkway has been set up in the area to allow visitors to enjoy trekking along the ravine itself. Mid-October to mid-November is highly recommended due to the autumnal colors being at their peak. Don’t miss out on seeing them alongside some beautiful waterfalls!
