Opened in 1993, it is Shimonoseki's first "Migratory Japanese Garden." The premise is around 33,000 square meters wide and consists of a study room, a tea room, a summer pavillion, and there is also a waterfall that utilizes the pond in the area. It is a place where visitors can enjoy a peaceful atmosphere. Different flowers are in bloom throughout the year. Visitors can enjoy the cherry blossoms from March to April, and autumn leaves from November to December; various colors are present every season.
