Kuju Flower Park
Kuju Flower Park is located at the center of Kyushu, in Kuju Plateau, Taketa City, Oita. With an area of approximately 220,000 square meters, there are about 500 species of 5 million flowers in full bloom inside the park from spring to autumn. There are tulips and shibazakura from April to May, and sunflowers and lavenders from June to August. From late September to early November, about 1 million cosmos are in full bloom. There are various ways people can enjoy their visit, for aside from the flowers, the park also holds events, and there are shops, restaurants and cafes that feature menu which are tailored to suit the flowers blooming in the season.
