Tsuru no Mai Bridge
Tsuru no Mai gained popularity through a tv commercial for JR featuring popular actress Sayuri Yoshinaga, entitled, "A Grown Woman's Holiday Recreation Club." It is the longest triple-arched bridge in Japan, with a total length of 300 meters. The bridge, said to resemble a crane flying in the sky, features Mt. Iwaki (nicknamed "Tsugaru's Mt. Fuji") in the background; the two of them together make for a breathtaking scenery. Another highlight is the view of Mt. Iwaki reflected on the surface of lake, nicknamed "Tsugari's Inverted Mt. Fuji."
