Jozankei Onsen Snow Light Path
This event is held annually in the Jozankei Shrine. The flickering light of countless snow candles is said to emit a 1/f power spectral density that is believed to have healing effects. One of the highlights of the event is a dynamic performance by fire dancer "Kuon." In the popular "flame of wishes," it is said that one's wish will be fulfilled if it is prayed for while lighting the candles and if the light remains on when carrying the candles towards the snow tower.
