Ubara Beach
Ubara Beach

Selected as one of Japan's 100 Beaches, it is a shallow coast within a rias coast cove. The white torii gate rising in front of the ocean belongs to Ubara Yasaka Shrine. The contrast of the white torii gate against the cobalt blue waters of the ocean creates a most mysterious and beautiful landscape. The waters are clear and transparent, quite uncharacteristic of seawater close to a bustling city.
