The name of this oak tree originates from the tv commercial and packaging of the product (cigarette) it was used in. As it is the only tree on top of that hill, it used to have the nickname "Hokuei's Single Tree." The landscape scenery is beautiful in the summer, with the contrast of the fresh greenery against the blue sky, and in the winter, with that single lonesome tree nestling atop a hill covered completely in white snow. A region of trees is called a "patchwork path" due to the partition of various colors based on the type of crop being cultivated.
