Lake Kuttara is a caldera lake created by volcanic activity that began about 80,000 years ago and is known as the roundest lake in Japan. It is highly transparent due to the lack of river flow, and it has even won first place in the "lake/swamp" category in the water quality survey conducted by the Ministry of the Environment. You can also enjoy canoe in the lake, the view from the surface of the water is something you will never forget.
