Bihoro Pass connects the towns of Bihoro and Teshikaga in Hokkaido, and is located on Route 243 at an elevation of 525 meters. Here you can enjoy Lake Kussharo's view, the largest caldera lake (volcanic crater lake) in Japan. You can see far into the distance on a clear day, many people visit the pass every year to enjoy this panoramic view of nature. It is also a popular spot for cycling, and the scenery can be enjoyed throughout the year as it changes with the seasons.
