Designated as a special scenic place of Japan, this garden is the largest of its kind. The garden contains beautiful ponds and miniature hills on the back of Mt. Shiun. The work of the building was completed after 100 years of improvements and extensions. A network of footpaths threads through the garden, allowing visitors to walk around and enjoy different landscapes.
