A huge stacked rock that rests at the top of the mountain is the sacred body of the Koseishizuchi Shrine.
Located in the westernmost part of Shodo island, it is exquisitely balanced and unclear whether it is a man-made or natural phenomenon. Its impressive power exudes strong energy, making this place a power spot.
It is a 40-minute round trip from the parking lot, but from the top of the mountain, you can see the Seto Inland Sea, the majestic mountains, and the village, a spectacular view that is worth the effort.
