Mt. Nakatsumine, the highest mountain in Tokushima City, stands at 772.9 meters above sea level. The five waterfalls on the upper part of the Hatta River, which originates from Nakatsuminesan Mountain, are collectively called the "Hatta Five Waterfalls" .
There are also countless other small waterfalls, as well as Nyorinji Temple and Nakatsumine Forest Park. At the observatory in Nakatsumine Forest Park, you can see Awaji Island and Wakayama Prefecture in the distance, and there is a hiking course that takes you up to the top of Nakatsumine Mountain.
