In Ito City, Shizuoka Prefecture, an event called "Ito MAGARI Bina" has been held every year from late February to early March since 2013, here you can see elaborate displays of Hina dolls at various locations in the city.
At the main site of the festival, Butsugenji Temple, 118 stairs will be lined with Hina dolls. The word "Magari-hina" comes from the meaning of "hunting evil," and is used to celebrate the Doll Festival in a lively manner, wishing for the happiness of everyone.
