Dogashima Tensodo (Blue cave)
Blue cave is located in the scenic spot "Dogashima" in Nishi-Izu Town, Kamo District, Shizuoka Prefecture. It is formed from white tuff, and sea-eroded tunnels spread out underground like a beehive. The inside of the cave has an artistic feel, like a sculpture, and the surface of the sea is crystal clear, with fantastic light pouring in through the open skylight. It is a mystical space worthy of being called the "Blue Cave". A sightseeing tour on a cruise ship is a popular way to enjoy the thrilling scenery here.
