About 40 kinds of 1500 cherry trees are planted in "Sakura no Sato", which has a vast site of about 40,000 m2 at the foot of Mt. Omuro: In February - Kawazu cherry trees and Kanzakura (winter cherry trees); in March - early blooming Oshima cherry trees, Ito cherry trees, and Jogasaki cherry trees; and in April - Someiyoshino cherry trees are in full bloom.
The area is also known as a famous place where cherry blossoms bloom continuously for about eight months from September to May, and you can enjoy different cherry blossoms in each season.
