May

A 700-meter-wide strait between Honshu and Kyushu Islands. About 700 boats of all sizes pass through this water channel on a daily basis, and this can be observed from the city. Popular viewing sports include the bridge, the obervation deck, and areas along the water's edge. A ride on the ferry is another good way to take in the view.
