Fube Dam Fube Dam

The Fube Dam was constructed in the upper reaches of the Iinashi River from April 1964 for the purpose of flood control, water supply, and power generation.
The surrounding area is a natural park where you can enjoy seasonal flowers and trees such as camellias, maples, cherry blossoms, azaleas, and hydrangeas, and you can also enjoy a leisurely walk along the lakeside, which is about 1km away.
You can also walk through a promenade, a viewing platform, and a large suspension bridge over Nakanoshima Park. Here a dam festival is held every year, offering local gourmet food and interesting performances.
