The 40-meter drop of the Amedaki Waterfall is located on the upper reaches of the Fukuro River flowing from Mt. Oginosen.
Surrounded by greenery, the scenery changes with the seasons, from fresh green in summer to autumn foliage. In summer, the area is popular as a getaway resort, attracting many young people and families.
In June, the Inaba no Kasa Odori (Umbrella Dance of Inaba), a traditional performance event, the "Otaki Mairi" festival held on August 1st of the lunar calendar, and other Shinto rituals are held in conjunction with the Waterfall-Opening Festival.
